Dettagli del progetto

  • Anno: 2020
  • Superficie: 3500 m²
  • Area pavimentata: 1400 m²

One of the largest pump tracks in Austria and beyond the country’s borders is officially open. This attractive sports facility in Lebring, which is located near Graz and the Slovenian and Hungarian borders, is attracting visitors from the wider region on all types of bicycles and all other roller sports equipment.

The pump track, located near the high school and the sports field, consists of three parts. The main area offers a mirrored layout for experienced users, which also enables head-to-head races and other competitions. Next to it is one of the largest jump lines that can be found on a pump track in Europe.

Of course, the pump track is not only suitable for experienced and professional users. There is also a smaller loop that provides a safe and fun experience for toddlers on balance bikes, as well as pump track newbies and even disabled people in wheelchairs. At the same time, a kid’s pump track is an advanced environment where users feel their way up the wave course and quickly acquire the skills needed to ride a larger pump track.

The decision to implement a pump track was well thought out. The municipality was looking for an attractive, multifunctional sports facility that would encourage residents to exercise and lead an active lifestyle and that would attract visitors from all over the country and from neighboring countries.
