In cooperation with the municipality of Feldkirchen, we were looking for the most suitable location for the pump track. As Feldkirchen has an attractive beach next to the Danube which attracts visitors from the wider region, we have started to look for a suitable location in that area. The green meadow covering an area of 1000 m2, located between the parking area (enabling easy access) and the beach club, seemed just perfect. Located in a popular tourist area, the pump track is not only an attraction for the local community but also serves as an additional offer for tourists and visitors from afar.
After identifying the main target groups, we have, together with the municipality, decided to implement a pump track that would also be suitable for more experienced users, and that is why we planned the berms to be 1,4m high. The construction of the pump track was initiated soon after and completed in under 3 weeks. Along with the construction of the pump track, we also took care of the landscaping, including revegetation with roll turf.
