Situated on the outskirts of Brownsville, the new pump track at Pedro “Pete” Benavides County Park provides a modern, inclusive space for cycling and wheeled-sports enthusiasts of all ages. Extending nearly 150 metres in length, the asphalt circuit features a smooth, flowing layout with berms, rollers, and three dedicated jump sections. It is suitable for bicycles, skateboards, scooters, and inline skates, offering a safe and enjoyable environment for both beginners and experienced riders. Equipped with solar-powered lighting and shaded seating areas, the facility promotes year-round use and community engagement. Developed with support from the American Rescue Plan Act, the project represents a lasting investment in healthy outdoor recreation and active lifestyles.
