Pump track Ljubljana – Fužine

Project Details

  • Year: 2018
  • Area: 2600 m²
  • Paved Area: 710 m²

Fužine pump track is one of the 4 pump tracks built at Slovenian main city, Ljubljana. It is located in the middle of the residential area. Next to the bigger all-around pump track, there is also a smaller one, meant for kids and beginners.

Having a bigger pump track for advanced users and smaller kids and beginner pump track implemented both next to each other is optimal as it enables fast and safe progression from the total beginner to professional level. A bigger pump track can be consequently also more demanding and suitable also for most experienced users and competitions. As they are oriented towards better riders they can have higher features – up to 1,5 m or higher and their layouts also require more technical skills and better fitness levels. In addition, they are usually accompanied also with the jump line and include several features that can be jumped over by more experienced users. As such they are suitable also for all levels of contests and competitions.

Having two separate pump tracks one next to another also enables division of users by their skill level, so less skilled users do not obstruct more experienced ones as can be the case on a singular “general” pump track.
