The pump track in Kutina is built next to the football field of NK Moslavina, which gave this sports and recreation zone an added value. It covers around 800 m2, and about 700 m3 of gravel and 71 tons of asphalt were used for the construction.
The decision to implement a pump track was well thought out. The municipality was looking for an attractive, multifunctional sports facility that would encourage residents to exercise and lead an active lifestyle and that would attract visitors from all over the country.
Asphalt pump tracks, a global trend among the sports infrastructure, can satisfy these criteria plus several others. Addressing more than 15 sports and 3 Olympic disciplines, the pump track as a single object represents a multi-purpose sports facility. It can be used by almost any bike, striders, rollerblades, scooters, skateboards, and other sports equipment on wheels, including wheelchairs. As such it is a truly unique environment for anyone between the age of 2 and 70, bringing together families and the whole community.
